About the Writer

Hello all, before posting content, I feel it is necessary you know a tad about me:
I am Gabrielle Miller a graduating Senior at Eastern Michigan University. This December (2018), I will be obtaining my Bachelor's!  I major in Communications with a minor in Marketing. These two fields of study, are my passion, and throughout my college career I have held many positions that have aided in me gaining much experience!

This summer I am really trying to prepare myself for entering the workforce while also learning and growing professionally. Currently I am employed as the Student Center Marketing Communications Coordinator at Eastern Michigan University. In a nutshell I:

• Assist in writing and editing sales and marketing materials
• Monitor the correct and planned implementation of various marketing activities and processes
• Supervise Graphic Designer, and collaborate with Student Center Vendors,  & other SC departments in the development, implementation and integration of marketing communication tools, activities, and processes. 

Outside of working at the Student Center, I also just have been hired as a summer intern through Ann Arbor Spark, "An economic engine within Southeast Michigan, that is cultivating a network of business and manufacturing excellence." I have been assigned with a small start-up called TrueJob. TrueJob essentially provides job boards for EDO's (Economic Development Organizations) therefore helping communities thrive, while providing unique analytics. With this company I will be doing a variety of projects that I will document and share. So, stay tuned!
